Hey Nova, I have many 1/4 mile runs. I launch by bringing up the RPMS enough so the car wants to move ( take out the slack), then WOT. My 60s are 1.614-1.650ish on DRs and 1.594 on slicks.62nalide. I pushed on up to 600-817rwhp for a year (6L80E) on a heavy truck, some make 650rwhp and hold for a lot time. The 6L80E has been out for years and its all in the tuning.
