I had a toilet keep clogging again and again after I used an auger on it. Turns out the toilet paper roll holder (tube with a spring) was wedged across the hole. The paper would accumulate after several flushes and clog. I only figured this out after replacing the toilet with new and throwing the old one in my truck.
